OPEN CELL HALF POUND FOAM
Half Pound Open Cell SPF reduces energy use in buildings beyond its stated R-value because SPF:

  Provides a continuous barrier
  Prevents air leakage
Minimizes dew point problems and condensation
  Avoids thermal bridging
Resists heat movement in all directions
Provides reliable performance under varying condition
  Helps reduce exterior noise
Creates a barrier against gas and odor
  Retards insects and rodent penetration
  Meets Class I requirements
Reduces or eliminates convection currents within walls

WHY SPRAY POLYURETHANE FOAM IS YOUR IDEAL INSULATION SOLUTION
FEATURES BENEFITS
HIGH
INSULATION
VALUE

Allows you to fit more insulation into less space
(2" x 4"'s instead of 2" x 6"s) - saving you money
in reduced lumber cost..
Performs in hot as well as cold temperatures
which is why your home refrigerator, freezer and
hot water heater use this type of insulation.
STOPS AIR
INFILTRATION

Minimizes airflow.
Helps eliminate drafts and provides for comfortable, even heat.
Provides improved humidity control.
SPRAY
APPLIED

Seals cracks and crevices.
Insulates hard to reach areas.
Provides quick, easy application by professionals.
Provides a seamless layer of insulation.
RIGID

Will not settle.
Adds structural strength.
Closed cell structure stops air leakage and
inhibits air infiltration.
Inhibits insect penetration.
LIGHTWEIGHT

Does not sag.
Delivers a high degree of strength-to-weight ratio.
Adds little weight to ceiling or roof areas.
Reduces transportation costs compared to
bulkier insulation products.
EXCELLENT
ADHESION

Adheres to the surface that is sprayed on and
does not need fasteners to hold it in place.
SAFE

Contains no urea formaldehyde.

THE R-VALUE MYTH
"R" refers to resistance to heat flow. These measurements are taken in a laboratory environment. Heat flow resistance is only part of the formula for effective insulation. R-value does not measure the amount of air infiltration or moisture that penetrates through an insulated wall. In short, the measurement does not factor in real-world weather conditions. The only way to eliminate air infiltration and moisture is to completely seal the building tight and use mechanical ventilation equipment to regulate moisture and balance indoor air pressures.
